Retail Sector London 2012 Dinner
National Portrait Gallery, London
It’s been forecast that London 2012 will generate an extra £521m for the retail sector, with 70 per cent of visitors expected to pass through Stratford City.
During the evening we will explore this in more detail and look at how retailers can best prepare for the impact of London 2012, as well as how organisations can leverage the enormous opportunities that the Games has to offer.
To share their personal insights and views, we have the following people leading the discussion:
Stuart Hill, Director of BT’s London 2012 Delivery Programme
Dame Kelly Holmes, one of the most iconic faces of British sport.
Finally, BT and the National Portrait Gallery are collaborating on a Cultural Olympiad project, ‘Road to 2012’, to create a photographic record of the people across the UK who collectively make the Games happen. There is an opportunity to view this exhibition at the beginning of the evening.
