BT Expedite today announced that Kathy Quashie is its new chief executive officer and Asif Khetani is its new director of eCommerce.
Kathy joined BT nearly four years ago to lead Group Revenue Assurance in BT Retail. She has formerly held senior positions within the retail, telecoms and banking industries at organisations including The Royal Bank, T-Mobile, Carphone Warehouse and TalkTalk Group.
During her time at BT, Kathy has built an end-to-end strategic revenue assurance capability, transforming it into an industry-leading function. This includes the deployment of a technology solution that has automated and standardised the way BT ensures profit for its product and services. Group Revenue Assurance now serves the whole of BT.
Asif Khetani has joined BT Expedite as director of eCommerce. He will be responsible for developing the product roadmap, market insight and strategy of BT Expedite’s eCommerce business. Asif joins from Venda where he was head of service delivery, and was responsible for driving their commercial strategy and ecommerce operations. Previously he has also been a senior programme manager at Snap-On Business Solutions, as well as holding roles at Hostmark and Natwest.
Kathy Quashie said: “In my new role, I am very much looking forward to building on our existing leadership in retail solutions. At BT Expedite, we aim to deliver our customers the best technologies across all channels, and Asif’s appointment will strengthen our eCommerce offering even further.”
Both Kathy Quashie and Asif Khetani take up their roles with immediate effect.
